As our world changed with Covid-19, we worked long days making PPE for the front line workers. We supplied hospitals, long term care homes, clinics, homeless shelters and vulnerable individuals. Items have been sent to Sarnia, London, Stratford, Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, Hamilton, Milton, Brampton, Toronto, Barrie, Niagara and on and on.
We have provided thousands (literally!) of individuals with face shields, fabric face masks, scrub caps and isolation gowns. In addition, we have cut almost a thousand isolation gowns, and many, many more face masks for others to sew and distribute.
We have had invaluable assistance from donors of fabric, sewing skills, 3d printing skills and especially financially. We did this together, people!!
Those needs have been met, and commercially made products are caching up to the demand.
We have learned a lot during this time, about what makes the best mask, most comfortable face shield, best fitting scrub cap.
We have included tutorials and patterns in case you would like to contribute to people in need yourself. Together we will get through this.
